PayBox reveals its true motive.
I'm sure many of you have seen the PayBox.me logo frequently in the past few months. Their blog tells us that they are in the process of creating a new and better online payment system but there is nothing to see yet. It is still only a concept.Their inventive marketing strategy has been to put $20 into every new users account and as long as you return to the blog every 48 hours your balance increases. As I write this my balance is $268.00. For every referral I gather in I get another $10.00.
Sounds good but it is unclear if I will ever actually see any this money.
Today - Jan 18,2011 PayBox issued a statement that reveals more about their true intention with their clever marketing plan.
They are looking to create an "Army of 10,000" from the current 300,000 (like me) who have registered and logged in regularly to see their ever increasing account balance.
In a nutshell here is the pitch.
- To be one of the "Army of 10,000" and earn real money promoting PayBox.me you need to first be trained as an internet marketer.
- PayBox shows a link to the training program - that link brings us to Maverick Money Makers. - a ClickBank product
- Join Maverick Money Makers - cost $97.00 per month!
- Once joined and trained become an official PayBox affilate/marketer.
A clever plan and I'm sure many will enroll in the Maverick Money Makers program.
My advice - stay away!

It looks like they have deleted themselves and comvback as a 'new' service, Vituapay. Pactically identical to Paybox enven down to the site layout and color scheme just like Direct pay dollars is practicallu Identical to Paybox right down to the site layout and color scheme with the exception of claiming to pay USD and asking for your Social Security number.
The troubling part is that while they are asking for you sensitive information you don't know who they are. They tell you that twp p

Yes ,, you are right about Paybox. I currently have over $2,000 in that account and was not willing to take the training for $97 a month no one will ever see the money they have made. Glad someone else seen this too!

Just a suggestion Monique, delete your account. as long as it is active it can be used as a 'dummy' account. Dishonest admins can use inactive accounts.

Wow! Thanks for the update. I signed up right before the 'marketplace' opened. When I saw that people were trading $PB for USD I logged out and never returned. I knew something was behind it.

didn't trust paybox from the get go but I stayed a member trying to find out what they were up to, way too secretive for me and I wouldn't be surprised yet if they were mining data.

@szanysu Next time read the comments you would have seen where I pointed out to Leonard that using comments to advertise on someone's post is abuse. You have been reported.

@Al when I first saw this I knew it would go one of two ways and it may have gone in both. Scamming people out of money to get to these huge balances of what they think is actually money but in reality is worth less than what my dog drops in the lawn(At least THAT is real) or Money laundering using this system to convert dirty money from criminal activities that they cannot spend into actual clean money that can be spent because it now comes from a supposedly 'legitimate' source.
Aha! I'll ju

Thanks for the update on this--Last I looked, I think I had $470+ in"paybox $'s". I only see it when I'm clicking TE's,lol. I guess if they'd let me pay w/ their virtual PB $'s I'd do it. But I'm pretty sure that's not gonna happen. My advice: Leave this behind as I did.

You're welcome. This same set up was circulating a couple of years ago. Just not as 'popular' that time around.
