Geographic Add Targeting For Apsense Campaigns?

I have a recommendation I'd like to present to the powers that be on Apsense.
I'm Not sure if its something that would be able to be accomplished, but one of the problems I've noticed with Apsense is, we get alot of useless (untargeted) traffic from our campaigns resulting in wasted credits from other countries. (outside the US & Canada).
Many member(s) programs are only availble to US and Canadian Residents.
I would like to see us be able to target specific geographic locations. This would guarantee that our campaign adds are seen by who we want and not have all our credits wasted by the spammers who use it simply to gather credits.
UPDATED: In response to the post by Paula concerning not being able to view sites and earn credits since she does not live in the USA. (which I hadnt considered)
One of the options could be "no targeting". meaning that you do not have to choose specific area's. I'm thinking that many folks will want to target everyone, so You would still have pleanty of adds to view to acquire your credits.
The folks that choose "targeted" areas could be charged extra credits to use this feature.
What are your thoughts on this?

Thanks for your input Philippe. I also sent Wincer a message in regards to this subject. I figure if Google can figure out how to do geographic add targeting, surely Wincer can. :)

I love this discussion. I call that "marketing out of the box". It's creative ideas like these that make ApSense what it is.
However, I don't feel comfortable giving my opinion. I've never thought about that subject. I guess that by the time I've made my first million bucks, I will have a better perspective. :)
I will get Dave Gilbert and Andy Anderson to comment here. They will know for sure what is possible and makes sense.
I will also send a PM to Wincer to let him know about the ide

Well..thats exactly what i responded to in the last post. Each campaign can be specifically targeted to who ever you want. Every campaign is not the same, and you would choose where you want to target that "specific" campaign to.
@ Paula.. hmmm... I didnt think about it that way... How could we fix that?
Of course this is all hypothetical, but I thought it was a good idea...maybe not.

This is a very good point, no sense getting people to click on your campaigns if geographically they are no where near or from even the same country. Then again it all depends what you are selling or marketing. some product really would not matter who bought or what country they live in...But a good point you have Laura..

Yes, but so can others. I do not think they would choose the Netherlands so it limits the credit campaigns that I can view in order to earn credits. I would have a disadvantage to earn credits to people from countries like USA and Canada.

Your targeted campaigns would still run for the 7 day limit, but you would get more targeted clicks for your credits instead of them being wasted by people in countries that can't purchase your products or join your program. Each campaign you run can be targeted to who ever you want. You would chose who to target that specific campaign to.

Paula, it would not limit the campaigns you can view. It targets the campaigns you run. Your not seeing my point I dont think. You would be able to target any area you wanted. You would choose what ever country or location you want. I think it would be great if we could chose like 3 countries from a list. I dont see how this would be bad at all.

I am not sure it is a good idea. Some people like me live outside the USA or Canada, in my case The Netherlands, but I have several websites targeting English speaking countries. If they were to sort out this feature you propose by looking from what country somebody is this would limit the campaigns I can view to 0 since there are very few people from Holland here.

Yeah.. its a shame we have to purchase credits only to have them wasted by useless clicks that do us no good whatsoever. This would also keep the spamming to a minimum in terms of our campaigns.

I love the idea, that would only increase the power of our advertising here.
thanks Laura.
