Geographic Add Targeting For Apsense Campaigns?

I have a recommendation I'd like to present to the powers that be on Apsense.
I'm Not sure if its something that would be able to be accomplished, but one of the problems I've noticed with Apsense is, we get alot of useless (untargeted) traffic from our campaigns resulting in wasted credits from other countries. (outside the US & Canada).
Many member(s) programs are only availble to US and Canadian Residents.
I would like to see us be able to target specific geographic locations. This would guarantee that our campaign adds are seen by who we want and not have all our credits wasted by the spammers who use it simply to gather credits.
UPDATED: In response to the post by Paula concerning not being able to view sites and earn credits since she does not live in the USA. (which I hadnt considered)
One of the options could be "no targeting". meaning that you do not have to choose specific area's. I'm thinking that many folks will want to target everyone, so You would still have pleanty of adds to view to acquire your credits.
The folks that choose "targeted" areas could be charged extra credits to use this feature.
What are your thoughts on this?

I think it is a great idea. Targed traffic is way more productive.

@Bob Timper, looks like you didn't read the blog at all, it's informative, nothing else, no opportunity here, what you just did is abuse according to ApSense, I report you

I agree with leaving the spam post here. It'll give me time to imprint her username and picture in my memory, for the next time she comes

Laura, this post is still getting the attention this topic needs.
I am still all for it. It will solve many problems for our campaigns.

@Work from home, it is obvious you didn't read the blog, and posted a comment unrelated to the content. I report you for abuse.

I started my campaigns this morning, all stating (US & Canada Only) in the title. Yet since this morning, my webpage tracker has picked up people from croatia, slovania, macedonia, indonesia, india, bosnia, romania, malta, latvia, france, netherlands, thailand, serbia, philippines, nigeria. I'm so sick of wasting my credits on campaigns. Anyone have any better ideas?

Thank you for sharing Laura. I am new here but,I appreciate your concern and entirely. What really sold me is your suggestion to potentially also provide a member with the "No Targeting" option. Every member can still receive a message with an offer. This is particularly significant for programs with expanding markets and provide an opportunity to develope name recognition early on.

Thanks Walter. I certainly hope so. I sent Wincer a message asking him if this were something that could be accomplished by Apsense and his reply was "It sounds good, we will add it later. Thanks".

Analytics, targeted ads - geographic, language specific, et al. - it's all a matter of development at most websites, and I think APSense will handle this great idea properly for the membership. The growth here is a testament to the ability of the leadership to address ideas, concerns, questions, and changes/improvements that continue in this vein, and I can see the wheels have already turned on this particular idea in rapid fashion. Kudos, Laura!

This is a great idea. I have not used FB ads as yet, but I have looked at the options for placing one. The ability to choose a geographic location would be very beneficial!
I too, have opps that are only available in certain areas. I hate telling people who are truly interested, that they cannot join.
