A Group is born
I have noticed in my wandering around this site that there are a lot of people like me. They like the same stuff that I do namely Science fiction, Fantasy and, eek! horror. So being that I like it and others like it, I thought that it would be nice to have a place to gather around and talk about it.
And so the new Scifi & Fantasy fanatics group was born! The whole aim of the group is to give us a place where we can discuss and share on everything about Scifi, fantasy and horror related books, movies TV shows, websites and even if you are a die-hard you can let us know all about that last Star Trek convention.
So come on in I promise not to zap you with a ray gun or anything and share your favorites. Correction I promise not to zap you with a ray gun as long as you are not a Spamutopian. There will be NO Spamming in this group. There's a very clear description in the group info of what is spam in this group and the rules will be strictly enforced! There's also no business in this group. Check the suit and tie at the door please, this group is to have fun and enjoy yourself.
See the guy kissing the robot head? He's an undead Divine Assassin and he will be more than happy to handle any rulebreakers that sneak in!

I love SFI, horror and fantasy. I prefer books over films. However I have only time for it on vacation.

Cheryl, don't bother to respond, I just saw that he has completed his mission, he was probably looking for any blog to write that pass-through comment. He's used to copy and paste comments, I sent him a PM about it a week ago, he never responded. Sigh...

That is pretty much what appealed to me about LEXX, the 'grayness' of the characters. They were all pretty much driven by self preservation or selfishness. There really was nothing heroic about them. They weren't a group of do-gooders spreading love and goodwill throughout the galaxy. They might save your world or blow it up (Sometimes by accident), but it's not like they were spending the time on making the choice.

I'm not into horror at all. I did read what I consider to be the greatest fantasy series, A Song of Ice and Fire, and there are dreadful scenes making LOTR look like a book for young children. The reason I love ASOIF is I had never seen a story developed only through choices made by characters, no plot devices, no coincidences, the good guys die, and you discover they are not so good after all, no B&W characters. The only drawback is, the author takes forever to come out with a new volume. There

He's going through and joining a bunch and bet he has spammed all of them. Well don't have to worry about him in my group. Kind of handy having a Spamutopian hating Divine Assassin as a'mascot'! LOL!

Cheryl, that guy you just RIPed joined my "Achieve work-life balance" group. His reason for joining sounded business-like, but I didn't attach too much importance to it, until I saw your comment here. Fortunately, my group is for subscribers, not contributors, cause I want it to be at the center of my business, so he can't add subjects.

Okay I gave fair warning! that undead Assassin doesn't like Spamutopians. He bagged his first victim in less than 6 hours.
RIP andrysulistyono10. Your spam post was deleted and you were blocked.

They are so hilarious. I almost died laughing at the one where Brian and Tango ran! I mean you're hunting ghosts right? what are you running from them for?
The one that creeped me out was the one where they caught to infrared image of the rebel soldier. That was weird!

The TAPS "Rotor Rooter" guys crack me up, they always seems to miss getting the "entity" on camera lol... they did an episode here in Canada at one of the old prisons, as you can imagine that place was HAUNTED! did you see that one?
Jackie and Alison from Rescue Mediums actually did a show in my home town at a local bar... I have to double check but I believe that place is still closed!

I'm mostly big fan of horror movies. When i end my work everyday online until i go sleep is the movie. I can't sleep with off TV. My favourite position is "The Thing" from John Carpenter (1982). I watch it more than 50 times and want more. Great classic! I just join to this group.

Glad to have you join us. I like watching the Rotor Rooter, oops! TAPS guys when I get a chance. Just sorry they got rid of Brian. He was so entertaining with his screw ups!

I'm not a sci-fi person myself but love a good horror film/TV show! Anything to do with the supernatural really grabs my interest so the TV is usually stuck on the channels where ghosts speak to people, investigators (a.k.a. ghost busters) track them down, or psychics help cops find the bad guy through channeling the spirit of the deceased... good idea Cheryl! ;0)
