Techniques for increasing traffic

Yes I have had success with adslinger. I goofed and didn't set up tracking, primarily because I don't know how. HELP! I am earning a small income, even though I don't know how to utilize the program appropriately.

I have heard of this Adslinger. How are your experiences with it?
I recently joined a program for tracking te results. haven't finished yet setting it up.

I am finding that social programs are also great. I'm a member of Sweeva and Adslinger. Sweeva is great, has almost as many features as ApSense. I just found two physical product affiliate web sites also. Neither of these programs requires investment.

Though surfing through Traffic Exchanges is time consuming, I enjoy surfing. As alamoshopper mentioned, I too have great success in getting potential leads through TE.

I have not had success with affiliate programs. I am working social programs.

I was surfing traffic this morning and noticed several errors that discourage visitors. The one that discourages me the most is a LONG preamble before the link. Keep the preamble short with bullet type statements. A second is broken graphics. Make sure your banner is working properly. Another I ran across this morning is a link that went nowhere. I ran across that yesterday also. It was a masked url that went nowhere. When I see that I hesitate to go to that person's advertisements.

I've received 2 members here from my traffic sites. I've also received members at other sites. Is it worth the effort, depends on perspective. I enjoy surfing and looking at other opportunities. I've had very little success with traffic exchanges over the years. Most people who use them have very little interest in taking a closer look at other peoples sites. They generally do only what it takes to get more traffic to their own sites. Since most people think that way, it doesn't really help either party much.

Uhhhh, I thought I would give some additional tricks. Can I give links in a business blog? If so I can tell people what programs I use. If someone is interested, I use a spread sheet for some of the date. I have developed the spread sheet over the years. I can also post more info on history of traffic exchanges that I have experience in. I can give tips on how to evaluate how to evaluate a traffic exchange before you join. Good question. Thank you.
