Heber Valley is home to Wasatch Mountain State Park. The park is tucked away in the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, the park is both a summer and winter wonderland. Park facilities include 139 camping/picnicking areas, two group-use pavilions, modern rest rooms, hot showers and utility hookups. The chalet, a ranch-style building complete with kitchen facilities, is available for summer and winter group outings. Little Deer Creek campground is an excellent area for summer group parties and reunions. Camping is closed during winter months.
