Red Ledges Offers World-Class Golf & Luxury Homesites
Red Ledges Golf Club is a new facility that?s part of the Red Ledges luxury homesites
community in Heber City, Utah. Over the last several years I have
visited some of the world?s finest golf courses and I thought I?d never
again run across one that will take the breath away as does the Jack
Nicklaus Signature Course at Red Ledges Golf Club. Red Ledges is a
stunning, high desert layout that offers a challenge and an enjoyable
round of golf for players of every level of skill. Once again, Nicklaus
has excelled. His innovated use of the dramatic natural terrain has
produced a spectacular golf course that features one amazing vista
after another and a new adventure at every tee.
"With the dramatic natural topography and views, the course we are designing at Red Ledges will be among the finest in the West," said Jack Nicklaus. I have to tell, you it?s very difficult to disagree with him. The course offers a truly world-class golf experience, just as its designer intended. The layout meanders this way and that, uphill and down dale, and from one rocky cliff top to the next. The fairways are set with snow white bunkers that, from the tees, look like pearls strewn across a series of green velvet sashes. Each hole is set against a new and stunning vista with the surrounding Wasatch mountain range as the back-drop. Big skies, red rocks and emerald fairways invite and inspire. I love it.
?Red Ledges is a private, four-season mountain golf community in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, minutes outside of Park City, with a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course and nine-hole Nicklaus Design short course, a Cliff Drysdale Tennis Academy, Jim McLean Golf School, spacious equestrian center, and vibrant village center with heated pools, spa, kid?s club, adventure cabin, and much more.? All this would seem more akin to a major golf resort that a private golf community, but there you go?.
Beyond the community lie the celebrated ski resorts of the Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain Resort; both are only minutes away. And the fishing? well, fly fishing abounds on the many area rivers. Area lakes offer waterskiing, boating, and fishing, all within an easy 45-minute drive from Salt Lake City International Airport.
If you?re thinking of relocating to an exclusive mountain golf community, or buying second home or vacation home with benefits, a rare collection of estate homesites and well-appointed luxury cottages at Red Ledges offer ?the unique opportunity to call Red Ledges home.? The course at the Red Ledges Golf Club facility is not, unfortunately, a public facility. The Jack Nicklaus signature design plays almost 8,000 yards from the tips for a par of 72. It opened for play in 2009.
