This on really should not need much explanation.  We hear this particular piece of Wisdom all the time in many forms.  It's a reminder not to waste the life you have.  We all have the potential to leave our own mark on the world, big or small.  The famous leave big marks.  Some people leave marks that last forever, how many centuries later and we still speak the name Julius Caesar?

For most of us the mark is a small one, one shared by friends and family  and in the saddest cases we leave no mark at all.  We accomplish nothing, inspire no one and simply are gone.  Live your life in a way that you leave something behind even if it is just good memories shared by those you love and who loved you.
