Authentic Relationship Building is the skill of developing relationships based on genuine emotional connectivity between two entities. Can you relate to these statements?

Today everything in work and sales is about authentic relationships.  Authentic Relationships are all about people - people want to do business with you not just for what you can offer, but for who you are.  Understanding technical sales techniques is insignificant if the sales professional hasn't mastered this philosophy.

Remember, you are always dealing with people who have emotional needs and wants.  Make your customer feel served rather than being sold to.  This will increase their support for you and will add to the perceived value of your offering.  Reassure your customers to ensure both their needs and wants are met by being a master of

*   Courtesy - be polite in your interactions with others.
*    Acceptance - satisfies a deep subconscious need of every person.
*    Agreeability - one of the most desirable qualities in human relations.
*   Appreciation - a powerful way to build high-quality relationships.
*    Approval - deep subconscious needs of others for self-esteem.
*   Attention - makes people feel valued and important.

Modern Selling is about an exchange of value, it is not about your benefiting or profiting at the expense of others.
