Arts development council, Hong Kong is an organization that was established in 1995, and is set up by the government with an aim to support and help the development of arts in Hong Kong. The organization has a number of roles that it plays to ensure the proper development of arts like promotion, planning, grant allocation, introducing a number of policies, implementing developments, and program planning for the future. This organization also comprises of around ten art-form groups.

The department is also responsible for inviting a number of professional veteran artists to act as an arts advisor so they can help in implementing and assisting art initiatives. The department is also aimed at offering a number of professional guidance for funding a number of grants to the required personals. The organization aims to make Hong Kong a leader in arts and cultural activities. It also aims to promote and support works of literary art forms, visual arts and performing arts in Hong Kong. The organization also ensures that the people of Hong Kong are educated towards various art forms and cultures thriving in Hong Kong along with participating in a number of national and international arts educational programs. The organization also works along with a number of public and private organizations like the Home affairs, arts and cultural service departments and educational departments for promoting art forms in Hong Kong.
