I am a new student at a local computer school. yay!

 I recently got accepted at a local computer school on a scholarship (sort of) it is a personal loan and school credit. with out this financial help there is no way I could afford the $10000 to take the course and pay for child care for 3 months. Child care may take up to $2000 or as little as $800 for 3months of day classes. The network of people I have met and have agreed to help me is astonishing. My wife is still in a bit of disbelief it is coming together and I am doing it. We fear a bit because it is a small financial risk, but what I am learning will only go to furthering my ability to earn a dollar working for someone or continuing to work for myself and add new functions to what I can do and offer others.

      We start the illustrator portion of the course today. I have never used most of these tools before. i have used the free alternatives but I am no genius on those tools as I have found out. Maybe with some actual instruction and the right tools I may be able to create decent webpages and have an easier time editting images and video.
