Did I boot you off my contact list?
We all have a limited amount of time, So it's time for me to make better use of mine. I try to send a contact message to those on my contact list every so often and I had a fairly large list when you consider each message must be sent out separately. So one of the ways for me to save some time is to narrow my list.
I've just finished going through my list and over half of my contacts got booted off! I did not just boot people arbitrarily, I did use a system to determine whether or not you stayed. My first consideration was how long you have been there. Anyone who was added on Jan 1 2008 or later automatically stayed. I figure at least we both can make an attempt to connect.
The second consideration was have you ever interacted with me. Have you sent me a message commented to my blogs or subjects, joined one of my groups? If you have you stayed.
The final test was whether or not you are a contributing member of the community. If I have not seen you around the site contributing then you got the boot!
So now my list is updated and those on my list are active members, friends and potential new friends. So if you try to send me a message and it tells you you are blocked, it's because you've done nothing to stay there. If you've done nothing to encourage me to keep you there, why waste your time and mine?

Wow believe it or not Margie you were not on my original list, A situation which has been quickly rectified with a friends request. Another benefit of getting rid of the clutter is I can now see who is missing!

That is such a good idea, Cheryl. Hope I am still on your list. LOL. And if not, well that is life. And you gave me a good idea about contacting all my contacts. Guess that is another way to eliminate some of the people. If they don't respond, bye, bye
