One Of The Great MLM Lies

One of the greatest MLM lies, which will ensure your destruction in this business, is this:

 

"Network Marketing is a sales business."

 

Yeah... right.  It's not. 

Network marketing is a people business.  It's a teaching and mentoring business.  If you study vitamins, minerals, and the medical advancements that now allows your product to grow a person's arm back, you're wasting your time.

Your product is people.  Study people.  Find out how you can help them reach THEIR dreams.

Not your dreams.

People join people, not companies.  People don't care that the president of your company is a family man and has three or four families to prove it.

Build people.  People will build your business.  When you build people, your retention rate goes through the roof.

If your company or anyone in your upline says, "we keep 90% of our people!", they're lying.  There was a phone company several years back that had to publicize their retention rate because they were publicly traded.

Out of every ONE HUNDRED people they signed up, only SIX to SEVEN people were there a year later.

A retention rate of 6 to 7 percent is NOT smart business.

So why did this phone company have such a low retention rate?  They didn't care about the people.  If you don't care about the people you sponsor, then they won't want to build your business.  It's as simple as that.  So build people, and people will build your business.
