Image Don't get duped, look for the following in all websites selling medicines online before making the buy:

a.) Contact Information: The websites should have proper contact information and should be based in your country of location. The site also should contain information about the owner of the pharmacy and the top pharmacist

b.) Registrations and Licenses: All legitimate pharmacies are affiliated/approved by a licensing authority. So check the website to find the seal/logo of approval.

For UKCustomers: Check to see if the website has a approval seal provided by the Royal Pharmaceutical Society of Great Britain (RPSGB).  For instance, check this online pharmacy and you will be able to find a green square logo on the left panel. Clicking the logo takes you to a RPSGB page that has details about the pharmacist running the website and information about location of the pharmacy.

For US Customers: Check to see if the pharmacy is licensed by the state board of pharmacy. You can check nabp.info to get a list of state boards of pharmacy. In-addition, check the frontpage of the website to see if the site has a VIPPS seal.

c.) Support: Call the website to see if the offer professional support

d.) Requirement of prescription: Do not buy prescription drugs from websites that don't require you to present a proper doctor's prescription. Such a practice is illegal

e.) Privacy Policies: Check to see if the website respects your privacy by checking the privacy policy

f.) Payment Gateways: Legitimate websites make use of secure payment gateways. Check to see if the website collects payments using secure gateways

Your health is your wealth and it's your duty to protect it against all odds. Practice caution and informed decisions while buying medications online at all times
