Image Denise Richards, former fashion model turned actress who is credited for films like Starship Troopers, Wild Things, and The World Is Not Enough, has been embroiled in a nasty divorce case with now ex-husband Charlie Sheen of Two and a Half Manfame.  Tired of being trashed in tabloids, this 37-year-old mother is determined to set the record straight in her new reality show Denise Richards: It's Complicated, which premiers on E! tomorrow at 10pm.

In the premiere episode, Richards goes on a blind date with a "regular" guy instead of her usual Hollywood hunk.  She also plays matchmaker for her pet pig Charlotte.

The Ryan Seacrest (American Idol) project is mostly set at Richard's Los Angeles home, though cameras are also bound to follow the actress to other places, including her trip to Hawaii with her girl friends.  And although the premise of the show mostly revolves around the single mom taking an honest look at her tabloid-tarnished image and putting her bitter divorce behind her, it will also feature her most recent attempt in the dating scene and her efforts to revitalize her acting career.

Aside from Richards, It's Complicated includes daughters Sam, 4, and Lola, who turns 3 on June 1. Having her children appear on the show has been a major sticking point for Sheen, who even took Richards to court over the issue.  Nevertheless, the judge has already ruled that Richards was free to include her daughters in the project.

"I've gotten a lot of flak about having them on the show.  Every other reality TV show about a family has their kids on it, but I was singled out for exploiting them.  The fact is, my kids loved it. If they didn't, I wouldn't have had them it in it.  They loved that I was working at home.  They're in it very little, and I had the final say on what was shown," she told USA Today.

Additionally, Richard's father Iry, 58, who moved in shortly after wife Joni died from cancer in November, is featured as well.

"Every time he says he's going [to move back] home, I'm like, 'You're not going home!' I'm so lucky I have my dad, who can help me with the girls.  He's getting used to it, I think he enjoys it.  He's very involved in their lives; he takes them to gymnastics and even went to Dad's Day at the school because my [expletive] ex-husband wouldn't," she added.

Following the premiere episode of It's Complicated, fans can catch the remaining eight episodes as it moves to its regular timeslot every Sunday at 10pm.
