I personally think there is nothing funnier than to watch some sexpot limping around on shoes that are killing her feet just to be "fashion conscious".
The Human foot is a miracle of Natural engineering--- But one corn or callus or bunion can bring Life to a standstill...
In actuality, I recommend removing your shoes and socks or stockings several times during the day-- A great foot soak can be made with epsom salts and warm water, and a great foot rubdown with good old mud, you can sift dirt thru a screen, to make sure there's no pebbles or glass-- mix with water and apply this to the feet, and relax til it dries.... wash it off, and
When you really understand how the body functions. At night when you climb into bed the stress that comes from remaining upright is gone. You can actually be as much as a half inch taller in the morning than at night. During the course of the day your spine compresses. Now add to that being off balance or the spine not being properly aligned from high heel shoes and you have a recipe for chronic back problems.
Your advice about footwear is dead on, Cheryl-- There are sooooooooooo many things that can go wrong with your body, literally from head to toe-- From wearing the wrong shoes... a lesson learned early, can save folks a Lifetime of pain...
Besides all that, good shoes make you feel great!
I see you gals checking out each others shoes, as well as mine-- At least that what I think you are looking at... LOL! :)
