L o n g sales pages - Like them or not?
Many of us find us on the email list of various Guru's in the internet world. And we wind up on these lists for many reasons... downloaded a free ebook; or a free report... etc.
Then we get emails about their friends that are releasing this product or that product - that is ALWAYS (and I'm being sarcastic) the hottest thing of whichever year it happens to be.
My question to you is do you like the long sales letters that they use, with the testimonials of all their Guru friends, video and audio files and you have to search for the price?
Or do you prefer the "tell me the product and gimme the price" method - that being in a nice short web page?
Curiousity killed the cat and I'm curious!

snakesmum - I agree. Lots of hype. Unfortunately, lots of folks fall for it :(

I like to see a brief explanation of the product and the price.
Long pages often are nothing but sales hype. Give us the facts! :-)

I agree with you Garnet. It drives me absolutely CRAZY to find myself on a web page that is LONG, wordy, and hyped.
In the eyes of the FTC, testimonials are not consider proof of anything - simply words.
I'm the sorta girl who likes to read what is product is, what it does and what its going to cost me. Period.
Long sales page - more than likely I will close the window and move on.

Hi Lisa,
Those long sales pages are a sure way to NOT get my business!
But I am kind of a straight forward and to the point kind of guy, who also likes to do business with people who I am able to communicate with.
