Self-employed have affordable healthcare alternative.
Are you one of the true free spirits in
America who has chosen to take the path less traveled by? This is a
gutsy move for many people, one that requires a true entrepreneurial
spirit and a willingness to go outside their comfort zone. Yet many
people do it. Many people take the plunge and decide the benefits
outweigh the risks involved.
Perhaps you were frustrated by long commutes in traffic. Maybe you had innovative ideas and a creativity that wasn't being used by your employer. Maybe you decided you wanted to build your OWN business and wealth, instead of someone else's. Whatever your reason, congratulations!
Suddenly, the hours you put into your own business don't seem so long - even though they may be the same as the hours you used to put in for your employer. Now YOU call the shots and problem solve in ways that fit your style and most importantly, the needs of your customers. Now, you don't have to ask anyone for time off, you schedule it. And best of all, you are now in a position to make your business what you want it to be. It's your baby, you make the decisions, you nurture it, and YOU reap the benefits of all your hard work.
What you may be missing, however, is your employer's group health plan. Chances are, you've already done your research and discovered that individual health plans are much more costly, and have less coverage, than your former employer's plan. It's possible that you may not qualify for an individual plan at all because someone in your family has a pre-existing condition.
What many self employed business owners are doing is turning to Consumer Driven Health Care. Members using discounted health and dental plans enjoy savings of 30% - 80% off provider's usual fees. There are no waiting lists, no forms to send in, no deductibles, no pre-existing conditions restrictions, and no high monthly premiums.
Join the thousands of satisfied members of Ameriplan's health and dental benefits. You'll rest better knowing you are saving money on your family's health and dental care.

Hi Joseph,
It's unfortunate, but here in the US, insurance companies who offer individual health plans do not fall under the same regulations as those who offer group plans to businesses. With a group plan, they are required to cover EVERY employee - regardless of previous health histories. Individuals have no such guarantee. Not only does an insurance company not have to cover them, they can drop them at any time.
I'm really hoping our upcoming election will put someone in the White Hous
