For all the Boomers who survived disco!

It just does not seem that long ago! I got a really rude awakening last night, a documentary of the film Jaws That movie is 35 years old!

Cheryl--love it, love it, love it! Wish I could still walk in plain old regular high heels....had the platforms and strutted my "stuff" years ago but whew....flip flops rule my life now. Dicso was fun, great to listen to and still rocks today.

Oh no you didn't (ROFLMAO!!!!). I'm still trying to figure out the elevator platforms. I had a pair of those and on top of that they were two toned oxfords!

I had a pair of clogs... They had cork soles... I have no idea how I didn't break my neck dancing in them... Please don't tell anybody! :) LOL! :)

Speaking of afros. We had a bus driver that used hers as a storage bin. Forgot your pencil, no problem. She always had one hiding in her fro somewhere!

And now if you can find a "rake" I'll really be rolling on the floor laughing!

Don't tell me you were sporting those platform shoes or I am going to go into a total fit of laughter. I can't really talk though I still have a dashiki hiding in my closet! and if I did hard enough I can probably find that afro pick with a fist for a handle!

Actually, I had a white linen Leisure suit, no polyester for this guy! LOL! :)

I shudder when I think of the clothes and shoes and COLORS, that used to put on my body... Think rainbow and you'll be close... I can dance too, and the Music still lives in me and never gets old...

I love black clothing these days, no colors or white in my closets, yet I'm still very 'colorful" on the Inside, where the real Action is! :)

Age may only be a number, but the human body does have it's physical limitations! I don't feel THAT old, but if I could barely do splits when was younger, i certainly would not attempt it NOW.

Well some of us do hold up better than old John "Vinnie Barbarino" Travolta I guess!
