Your Christmas Traditions
I would like to know what your Christmas family traditions are:
My family traditions -
My father would always bake goodies, and me and my brother would take plates of cookies, brownies, and toffee to the neighbors.
My mother made stocking for everyone in the family and would hang them up on the wall (just for decoration), and then she would have some cheap ones that she would hang on our bed posts. Then, when we woke up in the middle of the night, before the parents where ready to get up, we would have something fun to tide us over until it was time to open presents.
Another fun thing - we would get our own personal box of Christmas cereal, like Captain Crunch, incase we woke up hungry Christmas morning.
Then, when the parents where ready to get up, my father would make hot cocoa with peppermint sticks or peppermint chocolates in the hot cocoa.

Ahhh...sounds like a blast! : D
My step mom always likes to have me over for the New Years.
She'll make BBQ Mini Weenies, my dad makes the goodies, and we all play games all night.
Very fun!
Every year we have a family reunion and we do a white elephant exchange.
It's nice to see the whole family at least one a year.

Working on one project at a time.
Christmas to me means one thing, enjoy your loved ones and make the best of it....We always had Christmas at a different location each and every year some one else would have to put the show on.........We always made the most of it, playing different games, eating too much and just enjoying each other..........To this day we still do it the same way....This year it's at my sisters house.........

I remember one Christmas -
I was just a little guy, and I would always crawl behind the couch and lay on the furnace during the cold months. This Christmas, I thought I would be smart and do that. I felt so confident that no one would notice, and maybe I would catch Santa in the act. But unfortunately, my big brother saw me and woke me up. Told me to get up stairs.
I was so mad! He caught me! It was comfortable too. : D

Yah, it's torture trying to get to sleep on Christmas Eve night.
I take care of my mother (a stroke victim) and we have a tradition of waiting until 12:01 Christmas Eve night, then we open our Christmas presents, turn in for the night and sleep in Christmas morning. lol

Our Christmas tradition has been in the family for three generations. We light the tree every night except Christmas eve. We do that so "Santa" can light the tree when he is done delivering presents and enjoying his snack of chocolate cake and a glass of milk. We also leave carrots and celery for the reindeer.
So in our case Mom from my grandmother on down to me must eat snacks set up presents around the tree and then light it. Since the rule is you can't get up until you see the tree lit,
