For all of us who are fans of the creepy and scary, grab your crosses and garlic and come on in
There were so many creepy scary shows we remember from back in the day. Dark Shadows, The Twilight Zone, Kolchek the Night Stalker, The Outer Limits, Night Gallery and probably a few more than I can't remember right off the top of my head. I noticed that we have a lot of fans of these old shows so here a place to pay homage to them. Any creepy, crawly, hide under the covers show that you just loved qualifies. So add them here along with any comments about them and share with all of the other "Frightaholics"!

Other than an a guest starring role on LEXX I haven't really seen him in anything else. I guess Canada is not exporting as many shows to us as they were.

I loved the Twilight Zone too! My favorite Episode was the one with Burgess Meredith where all he wanted to do was read and everybody kept annoying him about from the boss right down to his wife. And then He ends up as the last man on earth with all the books he could possible want and his glasses broke. I felt so sorry for him.

I just remembered another soap opera called Passions that fits here. The town did have witches, warlocks and doorways to hell!

Hi Wanda,
That movie "Carrie" put me off Stephen King for life.
Saw it years ago, and haven't read or watched anything
by him ever since.
One scary movie! :-)

Yes! I loved Night Flyer. It starred Miguel Ferrer and Julie Entwistle. Based on a short story by Stephen king! Great film.
And speaking of original Movies that got turned into TV series The Night Gallery movie which is now considered the pilot episode of the series is still one of my favorites. I just loved The Cemetery with Ossie Davis and Roddy McDowell.

Don't forget the original movie "Night Stalker that started the tv series. I couldn't sleep for days after watching that one. When you are thinking of scary, don't forget the movie Carrie. That one gave you goose bumps while you were watching it. Isn't there a movie called "Night Flyer" where this reporter is writing a story about these unusual deaths and there is a vampire following him around in this plane trying to get him to stop? Thanks for reminding me of the good old days.

Speaking of Aliens, the all time best movie trailer ever created was for the original Alien film. All of the promotion and advertising was based on the trailer. Nothing but an egg. Until the film actually was released the big question was "What's in the egg?"
And the film lived up to all the hype. The alien was well, alien. It was like no other movie monster we had ever seen. and then to be in space inside this fragile metal box with a creature that bled acid, laid eggs inside of you that

I never could get totally into the X-files although there were a few great episodes. A couple of other shows I really liked were Friday the 13th the Series, Poltergeist The Legacy and Forever Knight although I suppose Forever Knight could technically be called a crime drama. But the leading man was a vampire!

Don't forget The X-Files! lol Ahhh...the good old days. I like Alfred Hitchcock movies. I love watching those older movies. Birds was actually very freaky, and I didn't watch that movie till I was older. Man...that made me think twice about going outside.
I love the classics too! Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Werewolf, Dracula, Creature From The Black Lagoon.
I also enjoy the Blade Trilogy and Underworld. I took my girlfriend to see Underworld Evolution - BIG mistake! After that,
