My Recipe for Web Traffic
When I read peoples tips on creating great traffic, I'm always amazed how low people are ready to go for few bucks. Many people are allmost ready to sell their mothers for nickels now, without thinking how these manoeuvres will affect their business later.
It was all told us in the kindergarten: don't lie, share everything and don't hurt anyone. Besides that I was learned lot of other things, but those count when you create content for a site. You see, my credo is that the content creates the site. It's not the code nor layout – both of those might bring you few visitors every now and then, but good quality content will make people come back over and over again.
What is good content then? My philosophy of good quality content is that it's always an answer to someones question. And internet is full of users with questions. This is why search engines like Google and Yahoo are worlds biggest sites measured by traffic. What you do when you have a problem? You go to Google/Yahoo and try to find a page that solves your problem.
When you write unique and good quality content, you don't have to think do you have right keywords and enough of them, they all come naturally. And this is stuff that search engines just love, you don't have to create all black hat and grey hat techniques to get your pages rise in the search results.
Just forget all these crazy tricks and concentrate into your content and the content will take care of your success.
