Beware of Scams advertised in Apsense
I have been in Apsense for a period of some 20 days. I like this one very much. But nowadays I am reading some blogs and some ads here that are purely scams and they first ask money (from $5 to $35) first and there is no guarantee that you get anything from what you invest and also beware payment proofs are made in photoshop by altering and modifying. Those programs which ask money first to join specially the sites you do not know and browsing for the first time probably are scams. So I request all my friends here that please be aware of scams and even if your friend asks to join or try to convince you to join first get some authentic survey or search in Google or yahoo or any other search engine and after thorough confirmation join and deposit money. One of my friend has been scammed in such a program so please beware of scams.

@ibsnet, you are right. Most of such programs are scams.
@Antiviruskey, what are you talking about? Apsense is not a place to make money. It is a social business network. and I have been using Mylot for three years and still getting paid. I have no idea what are you talking about.

I disagree with anti. How is Apsense a scam? I have made some excellent contacts, and also made a few sales due to Apsense. These sites are what you make them. Yes, there are a lot of scam sites out there, but as the lady said, do your Due Diligence first.

I agree with AM, if I run across a scam I would have no problem calling them out so others can beware. However I would also have to know it is a scam before labeling it as such. I have seen good programs suffer because of a lack of knowledge on the members part.

Wow, I still can't get over that nonsense. I applaud anyone going after the scammers but do some research before you start accusing people/programs. If you are going to call out some program you should start by explaining why it is a scam, if you THINK it's a scam maybe try asking around or see if someone else has proof

@virusmonkey
What is the scam here? and why don't you start your own social network and run it the way you want. Traffic for free? do you understand the costs involved? you should explain the scam or GTFO
and why are you still here if it is a scam

A site with the like of Mylot, Yuwie, and Apsense is totally damn scams if you participate here they make traffic for free and make money out of it. They fully utilize the members and take advantage of that to make more money for themselves.

Apsense is a scam itself beware Mylot has proved itself to be a big scam and so Apsense will be the future scam

Hi,
Yes i agree, great thread.
I have written several articles about scams, here.
By way of a list, i would recommend you look out for a program called "Ads 2 PayPal"... Looks like a scam to me.

This may seem like old hat, but coming from the "brick and mortar" business community, my first stop has been the Better Business Bureau (bbb.org).
Then of course, I dig up every mainstream and obscure reference I can find on Google and Yahoo! Even search public records (court, etc.), to see what the company and/or principals have been up to.

Dear all!
Just a follow-up to the idea, if its hard to come up with the list of SCAM businesses, why not concentrate on coming up with a list of certified businesses that really pays and are true to their words. Maybe there's a link or a TAB that lists the recommended affiliates that members of APSense can go and see and have this same kind of ranking and voting or even honor points just like we have here..with a sign as Top business.
Any more suggestions?
