Anybody who is a member of a Social network that Allows
the posting of Comment Graphics in the Comment area of a users profile,
has a good idea of their popularity. THEY ARE HUGELY POPULAR! Unfortunately this isn't allowed in apsense currently but most of the
other big social networks allow for this. (MySpace, Friendster, Hi5,
Facebook, etc.)

For those of you who don't know what comment graphics are, they are
simply small graphics that you leave on your friends profile page that
convey a message to your friend in a humorous or eye-catching way. The
Graphic may say something like "Have a Great Day", "Just Passing
Through", or pretty much anything for that matter. The Are basically just virtual greeting cards.

The Net is flooded with sites that produce these graphics, and if you
look at the page hits of some of the top ranked sites they are in
the 10's or 100's of millions! IMHO this is the Absolute Best Recorded
Example of viral marketing in internet history!

The viral effect happens with the graphic in this way.

A text link is bundled with the graphic, or the graphic itself acts as
a link, leading back to the place it was produced. People who like the
graphic posted on a profile they are surfing can click on the link to
go to the graphic website and pick up the code for some sweet graphics
they they can spread around. In this way Advertising for the Graphic
Website, is quickly and widely distributed thoughout the net for more
people to see, and click back to the Graphic Website. This is a true
and perfect phenomenon!
