So You Wanna Live Your Dreams, eh?
So what's holding you back?
Can't find the right opportunity? Don't know if the money is worth it?
Too many scams? Self-doubt? Uh-huh, I said it.
I've been a dreamer for years. I’ve talked about it, but never followed through, I kept thinking about it, but never made it a reality. But the drum kept beating, and I knew I wanted to be in control of my own destiny. So here I am.
One thing people need to realize when they venture on their own, and leave the oh so popular ‘rat race’, is that to make their dreams a reality, they have to act on it. And never give up. And NEVER doubt your abilities, learn lots of patience, and of course NEVER STOP LEARNING.
So after years of putting my family into debt, and MLM hopping, I had to really take a look at myself and see what I was doing wrong, and do more research, and take my time.
It was then I came across my mentor, and now my sponsor for YTB. Then I started doing self-development exercises with myself daily. Then of course I read a lot. And continue to learn. I may not have the experience as some people here, but I have a strong enough desire and ‘why’ to keep going.
Books I recommend: Rich Dad, Poor Dad; Retire Young, Retire Rich, pretty much all books by Robert Kiyosaki LOL, Magnetic Sponsoring by Mike Dillard, The Secret-Law of Attraction by Rhonda Byrne, and I have 2 more on the way that will help me with network marketing.
Why do I write this, especially since there are many of you who have already been down this road? Because there are people who are starting their journey, and I know I’m not alone. I’ve been doing this for almost 6 months (longer, but I only count these months as serious effort), and I’m finding success, but I also have ways to go.
So. That said, I want to thank anyone who has reached out and helped me, and I make it a promise to myself, to keep at it.
