This is my main blog, It deals with the major event each month that most of my business and time offline is consumed by. It is widely considered the oldest and largest Fleamarket, Swap Meet or Trade Days in the world. The url is firstmondaytradedays.blogspot.com
It is almost always about first monday. Occasionally I just have to get on my soapbox about something else. Let me know what you think about it.

Web Designer & DeveloperThank you Victoria, It is always great to here what others think and I really appreciate the feedback I get. I love First Monday and so spend some of my time online writing about it. I know I am behind on posting to my blog. I have to many irons in the fire now. Yet I am loving every minute of it. My blog and my 1stMonday.com site are my fun online. My chance to escape work and stress and just relax when I need that break. When those near to First Monday appreciate what I do it is the ultimate compliment. Because you know what First Monday is and so can really compare what I write to the reality.  I totally understand doing something just for the fun of it. As a business owner myself there is little time to do the things we really love to do, sometimes we just have to make time to do them. :) I own Candles By Victoria BTW, right across the street from the Dinner Bell.. sure is a small world isn't it! Web Designer & DeveloperWhen you said neighbor you really meant neighbor! Great to meet you. I have been in this area for 7 years. I used to own the Exxon station on I-20 by Dairy Queen. Yes we really are neighbors. :) I've had my business online for 7 years, I never did Canton, there are so many candle people there now it would hardly be worth my time I'm sure. When I go to Canton it is for pleasure not work. :) I love going but I enjoy it more when it's not so hot. How are you enjoying all this rain we are having?!?! Jul 5th 2007 17:41 |

 Hello Douglas! I can't say that I'm a neighbor being in the Idaho Panhandle but your blog is very interesting just the same. Because this is the group for posting your own writing to have members give you feedback on it ~ i was a little disappointed to not find anything but a link! However, you had an intersting article about cyber squatters ~ which i didn't know they were called that ~ I thought they were futurists with an enterprising knack for reserving domain names as a way to earn some exra income !! But once you labeled them as squatters... oh, dear! they must be an annoyance! Anyway.... I still know very little (nothing) about the Monday Trade Days you have down there in Texas except that it starts the Thursday before the first Monday! I really was looking forward to reading a bit more about it here at APSense! where black print is on white background in my browser! have a great day and i hope the rains have abated... Web Designer & DeveloperHi Beth, Yes I posted the link and a very brief description of the blog. I felt I was following the guidelines set out on the description for this group. The description instructed me to " > Do you have a Blog? Give us the link we want to see..." I would love to post some of my articles about first monday here for feedback from all. However since they are posted on my blog it would be redundant. If you are interested in First Monday Trade days then please read the blog you will find out so much more about it. As for the Cybersquatting issue. I do know many people disagree wit my point of view. That is true about almost anything anyone of us feels strongly about. At the same time many people feel as I do. I have always been one who is willing to speak out on subjects I feel strongly about and I always will be. At the same time I am willing to listen to those who feel I am wrong about a subject. If they are willing to discuss it with me maybe they will show me that I am wrong or perhaps they will begin to see why I feel the way I do.
