We come across so many programs daily which let you join for Free. Also there are well established programs which require a start up investment. I would like you all to share your opinion as to which program would you prefer to promote, The free one or the paid one.

I refuse to deal with anything free. For the longest time I tried with SFI which is one of the leaders of free internet businesses, and what I found the problem to be, is when 1 out of 25,000 actually spend money - it takes far to much effort to make money.

99% of the people who join free businesses (according to my experience), join because they don't have money to invest.... and they bring all their friends who don't have money to invest, who bring friends who...... you get the idea.

However thats only true of joining businesses. The are other opportunities one shouldn't invest to be part of. For example - I wouldn't recommend selling books online if companies like amazon wanted to charge you a membership fee to be able to sell the books.

So basically when it comes to affiliate marketing, I wouldn't dream of spending money to get involved with a company. When it comes to network marketing I wouldn't dream of getting involved without spending money.

Thank you Bruce. You have explained very well what happens when you join a Free program and also where it is optimal to invest and start building your business.

Brilliant analysis Bruce. Many years ago I started a FREE community regarding Business Building,. Invested a lot of time and money setting up the system.
Had a huge sign-up...and a practically ZERO involvement.
Refurbished the program, added a reasonable Tuition, and the program blossomed and the members (almost everyone) grew in knowledge and more important added considerably to their sales and profits.

Bruce I agree with you about SFI, however I think that their training is very good for a new marketer. You can take what you learned from them and apply it to what you are promoting now.
