We have talked about social networking sites such as MySpace, but how many of us are actually into social networking? I know that I am certainly lagging behind at the age of 55.

Well, I was busy evaluating the areas of growth in our eVo organisation, and naturally I came across the names of a number of successful people whose names were unfamiliar to me. So I took the old fashioned approach of plugging their names into the Google search function, and I discovered something very interesting. Many of them were promoting eVo actively on websites such as MySpace and Agloco. And as we have learnt, social networking websites are free to join and use. And social networking users already have a better feeling for the kind of opportunity that eVo will evolve into.

I’m not saying that we should all start promoting on MySpace and on Agloco and on Apsense (come to think of it, I recruited a few people through Apsense myself). On the other hand, what’s stopping us? As I write this I realise that my playing around in Apsense for the past couple of weeks probably resulted in my recruiting some of my best team members in the first place. The potential power of social marketing is beginning to hit home.

I’m going to sign off now because I realise I have some promoting to do on MySpace, Agloco and Apsense.
