Very Good Point and I must agree. Although pets photos are cute and often very adorable, people follow people, not pets!

I follow MY dog all around the yard... Not only is using your own photo a better marketing strategy than pets or cartoons, here at Apsense it's againt the rules to use anything but your own photo. Not that that rule is enforced

Pets are great and I love mine too! As a business tool it just doesn't work.

You are absolutely right Irene. Nor do cartoons, group pictures and celebrity pictures. It works best is you use a good picture from your self as an adult and use the same picture everywhere.

Thanks for your input Paula - you're so right. A picture that portrays a smiling person that people would be eager to associate with works well. And as you suggest, using the same one everywhere works as part of your branding.

My profile profile is not usual, but I have had a lot of positive comments about it when I was thinking of having a new one made. Sometimes people don't mind something a little different as long as you don't misrepresent themselves. I think it's pretty silly to name yourself as a "Coach' Like Coach Terry. I find people who have to not use their real name have something to hide.
