Too Many Tweets At Once Is Spam

"When you are networking your business over on Twitter you need to be
very careful to not bombard your followers with too many Tweets in a
short amount of time. What do I mean? I often see marketers make the
mistake of Tweeting out 20 Tweets/Messages in under 3 minutes. When you
bombard those who are following you with too many messages?it doesn?t
give them the chance to read it before you slam out another one. When
you do this too often, others will also brand you as a Twitter Spammer
which is the last thing you want for your business over on Twitter."  (Read Full Article)

Twitter, plain and simple, is "information overload". Despite this, Twitter gets traffic to your sites. In my own tracking I have found that most of my Tweets get at least twenty hits a post. The key is spacing your Tweets, as the above cited article encourages. It is nothing but pure spam to post too many Tweets at once. In order to accomplish this Tweet spacing you either have to stay in Twitter for a good amount of time or have your Tweets scheduled automatically.
There are several Twitter apps that will schedule your Tweets, usually for a significant amount of money per month. I use the $4.95 a month Pro upgrade at WidgetQUIK  to schedule some three dozen Tweets over a twelve hour span each day. Works for me! No Twitter follower of mine can ever call me a "spammer" because too many Tweets at one time is spam.
