It's time for some statistics and Most people are not going to be happy about it but hopefully everyone will take something from this to improve your eZines. I compiled these statistics by eZine category:
Arts and Entertainment26 listed eZines 10 that have been subscribed to. Out of that 10, One has 14 subscribers and another has 21
BusinessOkay approximately 260 listed eZines and only 49 of those have at least one subscriber and only 7 of the 49 have 5 to 10 subscribers. Oddly enough the ones that actually have subscribers are not some eZine named after or about a 'biz-op'.
Health & Fitness20 eZines and 15 with subscribers out of the 15 believe it or not 5 have 5 or more subscribers.
History3 eZines and two of them are subscribed to.
Computer & Internet53 listed eZines 15 have subscribers One of the 15, 2 have 5 + subscribers, one has 10+ subscribers and one has 27 subscribers
Lifestyle31 listed eZines 11 have been subscribed to and one of those has over 5 subscribers
Sports & Leisure8 listed eZines and 0 subscribers
Science3listed eZines and 0 subscribers
Okay If you have picked up on the fact that eZines devoted to biz-ops are a waste of space, you get the gold star! You created an eZine and no one wants to subscribe to it because they already know it's going to be nothing but join this business and they are not interested in your business. It's time to rethink your game plan.

Medical Billing/Coding/InsuranceI really wanted to stress the fact that all these biz-op eZines are blatant failures. I will say one the six month anniversary of eZine Space I'll be doing a little spring cleaning of these space wasters. This is an enlightening set of stats Cheryl. Is it possible to easily track down data on how frequently and recently eZine issues have been published.
On factor that could determine the number of subscribers is whether these potential subcribers will see that they are not just going to get 1 issue, but that there will be follow-up publications.
