How Can You Earn an Income On the Internet

Small Business owners: Did you ever consider starting your own affiliate program?

This week I wrote a small business owner who had really nice products to inquire if he had an affiliate program.

He wrote back he did not. He had thought about it but the prices that companies like Commission Junction & Pepperjam are asking were out of his budget.

I can relate to that. In the Netherlands we have companies like TradeTracker and Tradedoubler where the prices are also way out of reach for many small businesses.

However there is an alternative:

Affiliate software to set up your own affiliate program with which you are in complete control. The only disadvantage is you have to build a network of affiliates yourself. But that is not so hard if you have nice products. You could use social media to find affiliates and other traffic resources to promote your affiliate program.

I am sure there are more companies the have affiliate software. However iDevAffiliate
is around over 10 years and I see this software being used on many sites.

@Hi Sean. Do not throw it in the bin just yet. I am sure there are good other software too. If you have another resource than idevaffiliate you can send it to me in a PM than I will add it. It is always to offer people more resources

Thanks for this Paula, although i don't have my own products to market online as of yet, it is always ggod to learn of alternative resources. Commission Junction is expensive and more for the big players.
