Decrease Ur Windows StartUp Time!!!

press Winkey + R to open run menu
now type Regedit
press enter
this will open Registery Editor
now go to
HKEY_LOACAL_MECHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\
ContentIndex
You Will find A key Named "Startup Delay"
now Double click on it
change its base to decimal
its Default Value will be 4800000 (75300:hexadecimal)
Change The Value To 40000
close the registry editor & Reboot ur machine and notice the difference
I Noticed About 10% increase in Performance
I have Not Found Any Problems Till NOw But Still Am Not Responsible For any Damage Cause By This Trick

Well You are right so i have posted the warning but still there is system restore so if anything goes wrong can restore to previous time And there is one more command to repair windows without re installing. i will post it today. Aug 12th 2008 08:37 |
It is strongly recommended that you DO NOT mess with the registry unless you know what you are doing.
If you make a mistake then your PC will start causing you problems at the least and at worst fail to start. then you will need to reinstall your operating system.
