The latest business to find themselves on the wrong side of a civil judgment for a security breach is Texas Loan company, EZ Pawn. Attorney General, Greg Abbott has scored again. In Addition to $600,000 in civil penalties, EZ Pawn is required to implement security procedures including employee training.
With all of the victories Mr Abbott is racking up in Texas, how long will it be before other states pick up on the trend?
