How the game works
To buy a ticket, you will need an Ethereum wallet. If you need help creating one, please visit myetherwallet.com
On the Fire Lotto homepage, click on the lottery you want to enter. You will be redirected to a page with a ticket where you can choose your own combination of numbers or click on the magic wand icon to get a combination of random numbers. Once you start selecting numbers, the magic wand icon will be replaced with a trash icon. If you click on the trash icon, the numbers you have chosen will be deleted and the magic wand will reappear.
When you are satisfied with your selection of numbers, click on the "buy" button to purchase your ticket. You'll have the choice to pay with MetaMask (a secure Chrome plugin that is recommended to use with mywallet.com) or to transfer funds directly from your Ethereum portfolio to the smart contract lottery address (for users more experienced).
After the purchase, if you still feel lucky, return to the page to buy more tickets: there is no waiting period or limit on the number of tickets you can buy.
For each lottery, the system stops accepting new lottery tickets one hour before the draw. All tickets purchased after this are automatically transferred to the next draw.
Once a winner is selected, the automatic payout system will take from 30 seconds to several hours to transfer funds to the winner's account.
To see the results and statistics, go to the "My Tickets" section of the site and enter the address of the wallet you used to buy the tickets.
