Hello Everyone,
Can't believe it's taken me so long to join this group.
Better late than never. Jenny's way ahead of me in practical matters-- and I admit I do tend to get hung up on the technical side of things. In any case, look forward to getting to know everyone, helping where I can and learning.
Someone mentioned CafePress in an earlier post. It's a great company, but they do have their challenges. One has to pay for the professional-looking shops, the site has known to be very slow, and they can only pay by check. On he positive side, since CP is the biggest and oldest of on-demand retail sites, sales are consistent. If you want a more innovative & interactive site, check out Zazzle. You can set up a beautiful shop absolutely free, allow customers to switch your designs to a similar product (This way there's no need to put each design on every product.), and let customers edit a design with additional text or images. However, customers can't sell your designs; they can only edit for their own purchase. In addition to all that, Zazzle is also a community with interaction between shopkeepers. This is great since fellow shopkeepers are also customers. Do check out both companies, enjoy, and much success!
