Well the name says it all, have you started a new job lately. As l have mentioned in some of my blogs l decide to go back to the shirt and tie program.........Yep you know what l mean..............when you arrive they all look at you and see what your wearing. Spend more time talking about last nite TV show's and all the gossip l have zero desire to hear about.
This is my second week there. all did was get my self up to speed and looked for all the leaks in the organization..........Decide to over the best leak they have the websites. Looked over the financial statements so l knew how much it cost per month. Then took the formulas of how much it cost us per hit then per lead then per sale ratio..............I noticed our cost factor on PPC was very high as well as some other areas that really stood out.
The owner was passing by l called him into my office and said l like to share some informtion with you. He had no idea what l was talking about when l mentioned words like KEY WORDS, PPC, METAL TAGS, SPIDER CRAWLS. Then we l broke it down to his language $$$$ he understood. Next thing l know l am in the office with him and his General Manager which is a she....She looks at me and says no we have not really being updating or keeping on top of our site like we should be.................Wow he starts to shoot out numbers as in $$$$ it's cost him..........I just want to leave that office............Looks have a way of speaking very loud.....!!!
I looked at her and l took over the conversation and said to him that you know what l can take this and make it all work out and you know sir she has a lot on here plate.....blah, blah, blah..........Guess what l just created a new job with an increase in pay..............He looked at me and said l want you to look over this from now on.............I said that is great but we need to work the numbers out sir.............he knew what l meant............
The moral of this story is there is always a WINDOW OF OPPORTUNITITY IN LIFE "

Investing One Gram at a TimeOctober 18, 2007 Need advise on "SEO" from our loyal members. As some of the members know l decide to go back to work in the Corp. world not the smartest move but l did it anyhow. For my own personnal reason, l got my first pay cheque today and l almost had a heart attack, never even knew or though about how many deduction one gets working on his pay cheques. I was just use to invoicing my client period and looking after my own deductions. Ok back to my problem, never provide advise in the Corp world cause what happens if they like it guess what you have another amount of work to handle. Totally forgot about that. Well l decide to review there websites and notice how weak they were when it came to having there site "SEO". So my question to all members who have an understanding in SEO is. -What is the most important script of the site is it key words, what makes a site "SEO"? -What areas will provide search engines to pick up your site, when a search is being done? -How many Key words should you use in your website? -Metal tags, how important are they to your site? -How do you get search engines to crawl your site? -Pay per clicks, how do you use them to your advantage? When l review the source in our site l notice only 10 key words, mispelled words, and a lot of other things that made no sense. I have answers for most of them but l want to be well prepared for this meeting coming up next week with the builders of our site. So if you can provide me information and what l should have; l would greatly appreciate it. Look forward to reading your comments on here. Why this site is so great is cause the members do really help one another and l think we can all learn from this blog...... I had to ask the owner how much did he pay to have his site done, l knew it was a lot, don't get me wrong it's a great site but not getting the hits they should be, l review our competition and they are we a head in this department..But l hope to have this all turn around and make us climb up to the top of the search engines. Wishing you the very best Joseph Using Meta tags and keywords are very vital to getting your site to the top Check this out [url=http://www.apsense.com/article/110724.html[/url] What I do every time I edit or work on my blog is to ping it There are some very reliable sites out there that do that AS for the number of keywords that I do not know. I do know that the keywords used in the introduction to your site should be included in the listed in your keywords part of the whatever Oh hell I hate techno terms LOL Never used pay per click Well once but you need a credit card for that. Had to work around that one At any rate had some hits and "0" sales Is it worth I have no idea I do know backlinks are important as well If you have the Google toolbar You may have the Pagerank already there When you go to any site You can click the Pagerank button and then the backlink one It will show you how many sites are linking to yours Not sure if this helps at all but I tried wendy Oct 18th 2007 21:49 |
