If you haven't already stopped by and joined please take a moment to do so. Many scams not only open you up to Financial Fraud (a type of identity theft), But other types of Identity theft as well. In addition to the financial aspect you can also be vulnerable to Driver's License, Social Security Number, Medical and Character Identity theft. While it's very important to protect ourselves from phishing and pretexting we also need to know what all of this can result in. So consider this an invitation to join us and get involved with the whole ID theft issue.

Medical Billing/Coding/InsuranceThe product actually looks in available non financial databases for evidnece of identity tampering. So if someone had a fake driver's license with your information and got a DUI. They would find that DUI and you would be notified. You would than use the legal product to talk to a lawyer and be able to take the steps to address the issue. In many cases it will not be removed but the courts will issue a "letter of clearance". This serves as proof that although you have a record, it is the result of an identity theft issue and not created by you.
