What Makes Spam Spam?

I am not bothered so much by the blatent advertisers, even if they don't accomplish much other than some seriously wasted time and effort, and give online business a bad name.

I am more bothered by a couple of other types of spammers.

For somewhat obvious reasons, I am bothered by someone who would contact me in order to try a hustle me out of my hard-earned dollars. Especially when there are legitimate ways to make a comfortable living online.

Then there are the devious ones who try to arouse your curiosity and get you to some site and seriously wreak havoc with your computer or worse yet, your identity. Where is the sense in this?

Anyways, I think there is a pretty good future in internet security as well as things like identity theft protection. I'm sure there will be tons of eager entrepenuers ready to cash in on this problem. Lets hope so, as long as they aren't the same ones that are spaming you, lol!

Hoping to hear YOUR comments or questions real soon,

Spam is just not E-mail.
It occurs on Apsense every day

It is blatant shouting, by people ,about .......

Without ever taking a momnet and find
out about Me.

Everything in my life that is Good happened
because I said YES.

So court me, wine & dine me, find out who I am...
and if you did a good job, and possess a truly
unique Opportunity, you will probably get a YES

Wow I don't know how I missed this. Identity theft is right up my alley since I'm an Identity Theft Risk Management Specialist. Spam is not just mystery meat anymore and it can be very dangerous. All it takes is one hit from a hijacker virus and you up the creek without the proverbial paddle.

However there's another type of spam that's being delivered to your home mailbox through snail mail. Someone with a brain and too much time on their hands figured out that most people will cash a check. They mail you a check and have their account set up to mail their cleared checks back to them. Or maybe even their bounced check. Anyway you cheerfully give them you account number when you write it on the check for deposit. Your bank processes it and the routing number of your bank gets added. That's all they need to gain access to your account. Be very wary of checks that just appear out of nowhere. Normally these "Bait" checks are disguised as lottery winnings or overpayment refunds from online auction sites etc. When you get one, the safest thing to do is shred it!
