What is the Exchange rate in the BCE ?

1:1, 2:1 etc...

I have tried using the BCE and refreshing my Account page after varying views and it seems to only add 1 credit regardless of the Business Centres viewed.

I viewed 1 and refreshed the page and it added 1 Credit

I viewed 3 and refreshed the page and it added 1 Credit

I viewed 10 and refreshed the page and it still added 1 Credit.

I have been looking through the Business Exchange and have had no problem. My exchange credits have gone up by the number of sites I have viewed.

Last week I noticed the number going down on my account details so i wondered why. The I found the notes and realized I had to view others sites to get points.

So far I have had no problems.

Hi Eric,

Do I take it as read that you actually cast a vote for the Business Centers you say you viewed?

Hey BJ,

Yeah, i should have mentioned that... i don't view a page unless i cast a vote.... except for the last one before signing out of a viewing session.

Hi Eric,

ok thought so but best to check. I have not noticed this but I will organise a couple of people to run some tests.

The only reason you should lose points is by your site being viewed.

Will let you know the results in a few hours.

Hi Eric,

Ok independant tests show that for each site viewed the credits are rising by 1 point per site so the system is functioning.
Tests were done using IE6, IE7, Avant, and Firefox
All worked fine.

If you are still having problems use the contact link and put a support ticket in.
Make sure you include which browser and operating system you are using.

I'm using IE7

I'm working on a couple of theories at the moment...

- It seems to stop at 9's (479, 489. 499) I'm guessing possible session limits.

- Points may not be given if a site has been previously voted. Unless a different vote is given.

Thanks for your help BJ, i'll monitor it a bit longer and see if i can see any more patterns before contacting support.... They must be swamped with support requests as it is...
