ABC Website Tips - Reach Targeted Visitors to your Website!

We talked about search engine optimization last time but many of you asked exactly how will it help me reach the right number of targeted visitors. The key here is finding the right combination of keywords and phrases. Before you start writing the contents on your homepage, brainstorm a list of key words that pertains to your business.

There are keyword research programs such as Wordtracker and/or KeywordDiscovery that are great for finding the keyword phrases that people are actually searching for when they would be looking for your products or services at the search engines.

Be careful not to go over board when utilizing keywords on your homepage or else your contents may seem like a whole bunch of gibberish that doesn't make any sense. The easiest way to do this is to never optimize for only 1 keyword phrase, but instead choose a handful of related phrases. So keep the keyword phrases in mind while you write your contents to attract the visitors you want to your ABC website.

That's good info and I use SEO all the time. but changing your site to it's best configuration it dependant on:
1. Is it a affiliate site that allows you no adjustments.
2. Is it your own site that allows SEO
Affiliate sites are nice but limited, unless you copy all data and dupe into your own site for adjustments!

Good Advice, Live Free:
That's how I make my splash pages. By definition, splash pages should be short and sweet and to the point and the whole of it should come up in the space allotted. I pick out the most important points of my affiliate page and arrange them as artistically as possible. Remember, if you're surfing the hit exchanges, you have about 3 to 4 seconds to catch their attention, so put something eye catching at the beginning. Either content that grabs you by the throat, or some real eye-catching candy (images).
