StartXchange is a manual surf site that was started in late 2001 by Tim Linden. It has both free and paid options.
StartXchange is not a run of the mill traffic exchange. The emphasis is placed on each member playing an active role. The more active you are the more traffic you get.
There is an activity level system where by members are ranked daily based on the past 14 days. The better your rank the higher your surfing bonus is.
There are various ways to earn extra credits and level bonus points. They also have teams and you can join one of these teams (or even start one yourself) and so compete for monthly bonus credits as well.
