I admit it, at first, I thought Augine was one of those childish 'social site' games, like
Zombie Lane (no offense intended). I'm already wasting my time with one online game, so I never gave Augine the time of day to find out what it actually is. I've had several Augine-related posts show up on my ApSense home page —people buying lands and posting news, etc. — and I never paid it any mind.
Then, three days ago, I saw something posted by
Radek. For some reason, this one time out of all, it sparked just enough curiosity to get me to click through and check out Augine. You know, that whole '
they have to see it multiple times before they buy' thing.
I bought land, I posted ads, but I soon realized that I was doing it all wrong. I was sending out
random "news" blasts to three
random lands at a time; three being the max. Like everything else in marketing, these news blasts need to be targeted and Augine allows for some great advertisement targeting opportunities.
Not only can you purchase lands within specific industries —travel, health, sports, etc.— a lot of websites (lands) are very focused on one topic. And, with Augine, guess where your ads show up. Not only do they show up in subscribers' news feeds, but they also show up in the widgets on those targeted websites!
That tiny bit of information should give you some pretty big ideas. Here's one to get you going. It takes time to build up AG$. Don't waste it on random lands. Buy lands that are close in topic to what you are promoting so that your news blasts are as targeted as possible.
As it turns out, Augine is no childish 'social site' game!
