I had over 100, but I have since quit using Neobux after they changed their treatment of free users. Aug 21st 2011 08:09 |

@ Warren - When I changed my internet connection I was'nt unable to join and I never got an answer from them..... BTW - this is great over 100 active refs... not to talk about the earnings... really a pity. Aug 21st 2011 10:32 |

@Rieke My guess is they make a lot more from upgrades and rentals than they do from promoters like me. Actually during the couple of years I used them actively I probably sent them 1,000 referrals, but the drop them if they don't stay active. Then if they come back later, guess who gets the benefit. @Warren - actually while clicking my only PTC - I was thinking of you and asking myself: What is your criterium for a good PTC program? And what's the best way for you to get refs? ----- And yes you say it: as the payout is little and become interesting only with a lot of active refs, the program owner needs the upgrades and the ads... :) Aug 22nd 2011 02:51 |

In my opinion it all comes down to cash flow and that includes referral commissions. If it's easy to convert people to and they make money, then you will make more too. Most of the PTC sites today pay so little it would take thousands of referrals to make much and then it's the old cart before the horse story. How do you get referrals for a low paying program? Where I get most of mine is from showing people how to make them pay so they want to join, then help anyone who will let me (most of them won't). It's really that simple. Aug 22nd 2011 03:08 |

I've always had a very lukewarm attitude towards PTC sites. However I have decided to try one out. Its called Clixsense. Anyone have anything to say about this program? If so, please do let me know. Tips are also welcome as this is something new to me - Remember, I've - for a long time - had a very lukewarm attitude towards PTC sites. However, I am approaching this one with an open mind. @fred I have been a member of Clixsense several years and it fits the model I described of being low pay if you don't have referrals. It also requires you to upgrade in order to get enough ads to make much and provides a definite advantage if you live in the USA. Anyone placing ads can specify who they want to see them and without those advantages , you won't see as many. Aug 22nd 2011 09:07 |

Thanks for the info Oldbuddy. It's always good to hear from someone who has had (more than enough) experience with Clixsense. Like I said in my earlier comment above, I will keep an open mind, upgrade, promote it with my other opportunities and see how it goes some years from now. Aug 22nd 2011 09:24 |

Let us know how you make out. I would be very interested in how many ads you get being outside the USA. Aug 23rd 2011 10:10 |

OK Oldbuddy. That's after some years as I mentioned in my earlier comment because I don't expect things to happen quickly but rather very slowly with the program. Aug 23rd 2011 10:21 |
Neobux is indeed the grandaddy of paid to click and they have paid me thousands without a hitch.
