Ma Huateng, the chairman of Chinas Internet giant Tencent Holdings who is currently Asias richest man, lost more than $4 billion of his fortune after shares in the Hong Kong-traded company plunged by 7.1%. Mas wealth now stands at an estimated $45.6 billion, according to the Forbes Real-Time Billionaires List. Tencents steep decline was in percentage terms even worse than the 5.1% fall in the main index of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange today.
