Viral list builders are an effective way to build your list but the target audience in them is pointed towards the make money online crowd. To try to use them to build a list of dog lovers or even turtle lovers in my case would not be very effective.
They can be very time intensive and quite hard to keep track of them. Each one has different rules as to how often you can email them, how many you can email and then you want to keep track of which ones actually get you a response.
Viral Mail Profits was put together to eliminate those problems.
It keeps track of your emails you send, how many click your link, and when you can next mail. It will even let you know when it is time to mail again so you can use them to their max.
This keeps you on track with your mailing without a lot of effort on your part once it is set up.
