Resolution:
1. You should connect the cable to pc before you run MPPS software;
2. Check the USB driver "Amt Flash" in device manager. Please make sure you install driver after you install the MPPS software.

Or you may encounter this MPPS error: Error reading RichEdit1 --> Lines. Strings: RichEdit line insertion error.
