Review on Dubai Duty Free’s Sales Bounce Back in 2017
Dubai welcomed a total of 11.58 million international overnight visitors during the first nine months of 2017, up by 7.5 % from the same period last year, according to data released in November by Dubais Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM).Perfumes remained the airport retailers best-selling category with annual sales of $300 million, contributing 16% towards its total sales. Liquor and tobacco were the next biggest sellers for the retailer, recording $298 million and $189 million in sales, respectively.
