Review on COVERED THE FATHERLESS ATHLETE

After spending eight years in the National Football League, Keion Carpenter ended his career with the Atlanta Falcons. Growing up with an absentee father, Mr. Carpenter knows the struggle of being a fatherless athlete and uses his platform to address this epidemic that has ruined the family structure. After the birth of his firts child, Mr. Carpenter vowed to never allow his children to face the same obstacles. His goal is to help parents understand the pressure, confusion and miguided anger that is associated with being raised in a fatherless enviornment. There is no one way to raise your child, but Keion Carpenter hopes that his journey will give his readers a better understanding. Follow Mr. Carpenter's career from beginning to end and get inside of the helmet of a fatherless athlete.

Keion Carpenter was the greatest man I ever known. I think his passion for life and success motivated me to be more determined to be successful growing up. He lived a life of filled with surprises and adventure. He was the type of person that could see a ordinary person like the guy by the bus stop or the guy working in the barber shop would see and would always be grateful to be blessed by his presence. Its easy to say my big brother stuck out like a sore thumb and naturally he deals with the consequences of life facing different pressures as a young star coming up. This is the man who defied all his challenges and barriers by believing in God and in himself and moving with a purpose to execute his goals. Sure he goes through obstacles with strife and grief like all of our children but theirs a little secret in this book to help you and your future star if you believe in your child like I believe in mines and his. Keion Carpenter dedicated his life to helping kids like himself when he retired from the NFL. He started organizations like the Carpenter House, Shutdown Academy, and For My Kids in effort to reach the kids who over achieve high in sports but struggle in academics
