The class is split into 2 days. The first day is 6 hours of classroom time packed full of information that gives confidence to the ladies in understanding the laws surrounding conceal carry especially when it is justified to draw and use your handgun in self defense. Students are equipped with the ability to make split decisions with regard to their own safety and that of their children. The teaching methods used include powerpoint presentation, videos, and fill-in-the-blank 30 page handbook to enhance learning retention through the 3 modes of seeing, hearing and writing. The second day is hands on at the shooting range where students have a chance to load and shoot 50 rounds through each type gun, a revolver and a pistol, before qualifying by hitting the mark with 15 our of 20 rounds. A certificate is issued by the instructor to qualifying students in which they can use to apply at their local sheriff's office for a CCW permit. All the information is specifically designed for the unique of women conceal carriers. Great class and lots of fun!
